The ambition is for the "BIO4 campus" to become the first campus in the wider region as a recognizable point on the global map of development in the fields of biomedicine, bioinformatics, biotechnology and biodiversity.

These are areas of special interest for Serbia, and technological progress substantially changes the current approach to health and represents, in addition to raising the quality of life of the population, a significant opportunity for the economic development of our country.

In order to progress all segments of society through digitalization, raising the level of knowledge and creating a safe environment that encourages citizens to recognize the benefits of digitalization, the Government adopted the Strategy for Information Society Development and Information Security in the Republic of Serbia for the period from 2021 to 2026.

This strategic document will provide further improvement of digital knowledge and skills of citizens, increase of information security and capacity of employees in the public and private sector for the use of new technologies, as well as improvement of digital infrastructure in educational institutions.
