Among all occupations in the Republic of Serbia, computer programmers achieved by far the highest average monthly earnings in 2024.

According to the latest statistical data, in the first ten months of 2024, exports of products and services in the field of information and communication technologies reached a value of 3,342,000,000 euros, which represents an increase of 20 percent compared to the same period in the record year 2023.

Also, from 2012 to 2023, revenue from exports of services and products within this industry increased 10 times and amounted to 3.44 billion euros in 2023, while based on existing results, it is expected to reach 4 billion euros in 2024.

The Ministry of Information and Telecommunications will continue in 2025 to contribute to the further digital transformation of the Republic of Serbia, as well as the continued accelerated growth and development of the ICT sector in our country, through dedicated work, continuous support for innovations, the development of telecommunications infrastructure, and investments in young IT professionals, the statement said.
