How to become a leader in technology transfer, the example of Switzerland - Matthias Kuhn's lecture on September 14 at STP Belgrade

Matthias Kuhn, president of the Swiss Association for Technology Transfer (Switt), will talk about the important topic of technology transfer, how to successfully transfer innovations from research laboratories and projects to the commercial market, exclusively on September 14 from 10 a.m. at a lecture at the STP Belgrade.

Kuhn will point out the key steps, challenges and achievements in the technology transfer process in the Swiss Confederation, and what we can learn from the experience of a country that has become a world leader in this domain.

Kuhn has extensive experience in the field of technology commercialization. He is the co-founder and manager of the INNOGAP "proof of concept" fund, which has been supporting technological projects since 2009. Long-term work with startups and interest in entrepreneurship resulted in the establishment of Global Entrepreneurship Week in Geneva, where he organizes an annual startup competition for students and researchers. He also has experience in fundraising. He occasionally works as an international trainer for the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), in the Small and Medium Enterprises Division.

This lecture is organized by NTP Belgrade in cooperation with the Swiss Institute for the Protection of Intellectual Property (Swiss IPI) within the project "Technopark Serbia 2 - Encouraging exports through the development of technological parks" which NTP Belgrade is implementing with the support of the Swiss Government.
