The conference was attended by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia, the head of the EU delegation in Serbia, Emanuele Giofre, and other high-ranking government officials.
Serbia is the first country in the region to adopt a strategy for VI and thus became the 26th country in the world to adopt this strategy, and only one of the 11 countries in the world that has programs from VI in primary and secondary education. Last year, Serbia became a member of the Global Partnership for Artificial Intelligence.
Artificial intelligence is a rapidly developing field that has the potential to change every segment of society from transportation, education, medicine to finance. Special emphasis is placed on projects in the field of medicine and drugs that can introduce a revolution in the treatment of the most serious diseases.
The Institute for Artificial Intelligence Research and Development of Serbia strives to transfer its knowledge to employees in the economy in order to accelerate the modernization of the IT industry in Serbia and increase the productivity of companies in all economic sectors.
