At the session of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, at the proposal of the relevant Ministry, amendments to the Regulation on the Youth Employment Promotion Program "My First Salary" were adopted, which created the conditions for announcing the third Public Call for this program.
In the third round, the monthly allowances for young people, beneficiaries of this program, will be increased by about 15 percent.
Two cycles of this program have been implemented so far, involving approximately 18,000 young people, of which 42.2 percent have established a working relationship after the end of the first cycle. It is expected that after the second cycle period, that number will be higher than 50 percent.
It was stated that the state will very soon launch a new project that will refer to students in their final year of college, and within which they will be able to work and earn while studying.
