The progress of the University of Belgrade on the Shanghai list

The University of Belgrade achieved progress on the Shanghai list and took the position between the 401st and 500th places out of the ranked 1,000 universities in the world.

The First Vice-President of the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development Branko Ružić congratulated the success and pointed out that this success is a great recognition for the University of Belgrade, but also a confirmation of the quality and results achieved in higher education and science.

One of the successes is the commitment of our scientists who, with the quality of their work, contributed to improving our position on this prestigious list compared to last year, as well as the reform that was carried out in the field of science and greater investment in the development of scientific infrastructure - it was pointed out, with the expectation that in the coming years that success will be even better, as well as that this year's success will be an incentive and motivation for our scientists, as well as scientific institutions.

It was stated that the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, as before, will support the development of higher education and science and work to improve quality, with the expectation that in the coming years the universities in Belgrade and Novi Sad will improve their ranking on this list, and that the rest of our universities will soon find their place on this list.
