The domestic company Agrounik from Šimanovci, which has been engaged in innovation and research in biotechnical sciences for 18 years, develops an innovative biological disinfectant with antiviral and antibacterial activity. This natural preparation called Surfix, which will be used to fight coronaviruses, will be available in 15 days, according to company representatives.
Surfix is one of 12 innovative projects funded by the Innovation Fund, and Agrounik develops it in collaboration with the Faculty of Chemistry and the Torlak Institute of Virology.
The deadline for completion of all testing and start production is April 30.
