Partnership with France to advance technological achievements

The Minister of Science, Technological Development and Innovation in the Government of the Republic of Serbia, Jelena Begović, said today that the Innovation Forum Serbia-France: Innovate for the planet! Play green! confirms the importance of partnership and cooperation in terms of improving technological achievements and economic growth.

Begović, at the opening of that meeting in the Palace of Serbia, emphasized that by gathering researchers, entrepreneurs and industry leaders from Serbia and France, a living ecosystem is created in which ideas flourish and partnerships are established. The Ambassador of France to Serbia, Pierre Cauchard, pointed out that by organizing innovation forums with Serbia, our country's successes in the field of science and industry are honored, and in this way partnerships are developed in achieving common priorities, from energy and biotechnology to artificial intelligence. He explained that today's forum is designed to help the two countries continue their great traditions in the field of innovation, dating back to Pascal, Tesla and Marie Curie. The third Serbian-French innovation forum gathered 350 representatives of the academic community, scientific institutes, private sector and startup communities of Serbia and France. The gathering is organized by the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation and the Embassy of France in Belgrade, in cooperation with the Tempus Foundation, the French Institute and French tech Belgrade.
