The Proof of Concept program is intended for researchers who recognize that their research has commercial potential for which there is a market need. The program offers financial and business support for testing conceptual solutions or scientific assumptions with possibilities of commercial application.

184 project proposals were submitted to the Public Call for the Proof of Concept program. After the administrative check, performed by the Science Fund, 171 projects were sent for evaluation. The evaluation of project proposals was carried out by the Program Committee, which consists of 5 foreign experts.

The project holders are scientific research organizations from Belgrade (41), Novi Sad (9), Kragujevac (2).

Of the 52 projects approved for financing, women are the managers of 35 projects, while men are the managers of 17 projects.
