DIASPORA 2023 Program - Closed Public call

The public call for the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia to submit proposals for scientific research projects within the Support Program for Cooperation with the Serbian Scientific Diaspora - Joint Research Projects (DIJASPORA 2023) was officially closed on March 28, 2024. 

128 project proposals were submitted to this Program by 3:00 p.m.

The DIASPORA 2023 program supports basic and applied research in all scientific fields. Projects within this program do not have predetermined topics.

The goals of the program are: improvement of scientific excellence and relevance of research in Serbia by establishing connections with researchers from the Serbian diaspora using their competences and support through joint projects in the country and abroad, as well as the development of international cooperation, transfer of knowledge and technology and inclusion of the scientific diaspora in scientific research work and innovations in the Republic of Serbia.

The DIASPORA 2023 program enables researchers to define joint research, form new teams and collaborate with scientific research organizations in Serbia and the world.

The budget of the DIASPORA 2023 program is €2,200,000, while the maximum project budget is up to €200,000.

The duration of projects is up to 2 years.

The holders of project proposals are faculties and institutes from Belgrade, Novi Sad, Niš, Kragujevac, Novi Pazar, Subotica, Sombor, Leskovac and Kosovska Mitrovica.
