The Regional Innovation Competition is a program that provides workshops for elaboration of ideas, training vouchers and local support by the Incubator, ie the Startit team for Serbia, and ends with a competition and award ceremony.
The competition consists of three phases:
• First phase: Submission of applications - the application deadline is September 28, and the best startups go through the second phase.
• Second phase: Workshops and training vouchers - selected startups will participate in two workshops, receive vouchers for 3-5 hours of training and liaise with local Support Incubators. The second phase will last from October to December 2021.
• Third phase: Competition - teams will present their ideas to the jury and compete for the first three prizes.
The three best teams receive cash prizes of 5,000, 3,000 and 2,000 euros.
Thematic frameworks
• Research and assessment of resources in the field of metals, minerals and advanced materials
• Increased resource efficiency in mineral and metallurgical processes
• Recycling and system optimization for obsolete products
• Replacement of critical and toxic materials in products for optimal performance
• Design of products and services for the circular economy
• Mining in challenging environments
Also, teams that develop solutions for sustainability and supply of primary and secondary resources can apply for the competition; sustainable materials for future mobility (batteries, fuel cells, magnets, lightweight materials including steels, non-ferrous alloys, composites and multi-materials); raw materials and circular companies (new sustainable business models such as reuse, repair, processing).
Registration
Interested teams can apply for the competition and get the opportunity to win a prize of 5,000 euros and become part of the world's largest innovation community.
