This decision represents recognition of the Institute’s decades-long work in advancing economic science in Serbia and acknowledges its significance for the development of society and scientific thought in the country.
During the accreditation process conducted by the Ministry of Science, Technological Development, and Innovation, it was determined that the Institute meets all prescribed requirements, from a well-developed research program and international cooperation to notable scientific achievements published in both domestic and international journals. During the evaluated period, the Institute’s researchers published over 400 papers in top-tier scientific outlets.
The Institute’s strategic development directions are aligned with the Strategy for Scientific and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia. The Institute actively participates in numerous domestic and international projects, including those funded by the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia and relevant ministries. Achieving this status opens new opportunities for further development of the Institute and strengthens its role in creating the scientific foundations for Serbia’s economic progress.
