Cloud City Platform: A Development Opportunity for Every Municipality and Company

Serbia has been recognized as an innovative European and regional hub, as confirmed by the inclusion of the domestic startup Cloud City in the NVIDIA Inception program. This platform will enable all local governments, large business systems, and the entire economy to create, accelerate, and optimize numerous processes, reduce operating costs, increase profits, and provide citizens with faster, more accessible, and more affordable products and services locally.

Speaking on RTS with Marko Šćepanović, founder and CEO of the domestic startup Cloud City, Marko Čadež emphasized that the company’s success did not happen overnight. Over the past ten years, the state has been building the necessary infrastructure by developing data centers, technology parks, investing in digitalization, and generally supporting the growth of the ICT ecosystem.

Čadež expressed hope that local governments in Serbia will recognize the significance and benefits of the platform developed by Cloud City, which, he said, will allow them to reduce costs for local businesses. He cited, for example, waste collection, where a sensor developed by the domestic company can provide data on the composition of waste, the timing for collection, quantity, and similar metrics.

Čadež reminded that the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia (CCIS) regularly organizes the participation of domestic companies in numerous technology fairs and summits around the world, enabling our firms to network and showcase their innovations. This will also be the case in March this year, when Serbian companies are scheduled to participate in New Delhi, India.

Marko Šćepanović, founder and CEO of the domestic startup Cloud City, emphasized that inclusion in the NVIDIA Inception program is a great honor for the company and a recognition of their hard work. The program will give them access to the expert teams of this global company and its infrastructure.
