InnovNation Competition Serbia Finals Held: Best Teams and Startups Awarded

At the finals of the “InnovNation Competition Serbia,” six top high school teams and six top student teams were announced, each receiving financial support for the further development of their innovative solutions. In addition, among the 37 startup teams and companies that presented their ideas through pitch presentations on the second day of the finals, 11 received funding aimed at advancing and commercializing their innovations.

Out of a total of 211 teams from Serbia and the Republic of Srpska, 30 teams in the high school and student categories advanced to the grand finals following a selection process conducted by an expert jury. Through pitch presentations, the teams showcased solutions with the potential to improve communities, contribute to the development of new technologies, and foster innovation.

In addition to financial awards, the “AI Nation” initiative, powered by Reputeo, provided additional support both to the winning teams and to those that did not receive financial funding. This support includes mentorship, strategic guidance, and assistance with further product development and business model refinement over a three-month period.

The startup presentations once again demonstrated how innovative solutions contribute to technological advancement, stimulate the development of new products and services, and create potential for entry into the global market. The finals of the “InnovNation Competition Serbia” confirmed that there is strong innovative potential among young people, as well as a readiness to develop ideas in a serious, sustainable, and market-oriented manner.

The competition was organized by the Belgrade Science and Technology Park, with the support of the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation, as well as partners from the innovation ecosystem.
