The Science Fund and the Ministry of Environmental Protection signed a Cooperation Agreement

Acting Director of the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr. Nenad Filipović, and Minister of Environmental Protection, Sara Pavkov, signed a Cooperation Agreement today, which will be the basis for further improvement and support for science and scientific research in the field of environmental protection.

Minister of Environmental Protection Sara Pavkov emphasized that the Agreement is an important step in connecting the scientific community and the department it leads, because the joint action of the two institutions will contribute to the advancement of the strategic goals of sustainable development.
According to her, the Cooperation Agreement will be the umbrella document on the basis of which the two institutions will make a joint effort to encourage and promote green innovations, research work in the field of ecology, and the exchange of knowledge and experiences.
Prof. Dr. Filipović emphasized that the Science Fund recognizes environmental protection as one of the priorities of modern society.
He reminded that the first phase of the Green Program for Cooperation between Science and Industry is currently being completed, within which 20 projects have been supported with a budget of 3.5 million euros.
