The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Japan Business Alliance in Serbia (JBAS), Goran Pekez, stated that over the past decade, Japan has proven to be one of the most significant investors in Serbia.
Our countries are closer than ever before thanks to an increasingly strong economic partnership, mutual respect and shared values, such as stability, commitment to innovation and belief in long-term cooperation, he said.
The Deputy Chairman of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Mihailo Vesović, underlined that the economies of the two countries are compatible on many levels.
Our task, as he stated, is to help you find the right partners, create good conditions for further cooperation and apply the philosophy of Japanese business culture.
In addition, our goal is to present innovative approaches that the Serbian economy can offer – not only in a technical sense, through production intended for the markets of Europe and beyond, but also through the unique ways in which it faces challenges, explained Vesović.
A delegation from the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation will visit the Expo exhibition in Osaka, after which it will hold a series of bilateral meetings in Tokyo with the aim of deepening cooperation between Serbia and Japan in the field of science and innovation.
