Begović, who earlier today held a meeting with the Egyptian delegation in the Serbian Government, stressed that cooperation with Egypt can contribute to the faster development of innovation and science, especially in the field of new technologies, such as artificial intelligence, biotechnology and the digitalization of agriculture.
She recalled that during the recent official visit of the Serbian delegation to Egypt, led by the President of the Republic Aleksandar Vučić, the first meeting was held, at which common topics were opened, namely artificial intelligence and digitalization, that is, where to apply them and in what way, but also how to regulate them.
Talat pointed out that today's meeting represents a continuation of the cooperation that began in July, when it was decided that the two countries would harmonize common experiences and cooperation in the field of projects related to artificial intelligence and the application of innovations, with support and assistance to new companies and startups in that field.
The Egyptian minister is on an official visit to Serbia until November 27, and during his visit to the Science and Technology Park, he visited the startup companies B2Bee and High Voltage Innovations.
He will also visit the Science and Technology Park in Novi Sad, the State Data Center in Kragujevac, the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad, and the Institute for Artificial Intelligence.
