According to him, we need the synergy of the state, science, production, and large companies, because only together can we succeed in the increasingly demanding European and world food market, which expects quality and high standards and implies the application of the most modern technologies.
Serbia, as he underlined, can offer organic food that is increasingly in demand, we have enough hard-working hosts who can deliver it, smart young scientists who can help us in this, as well as capable businessmen who can export our food.
The markets of the EU, China, Turkey, Russia, and Egypt are open to us, and in the coming period we expect the opening of new markets. It is a huge development opportunity, which we can take advantage of if we are united and part of the same team, emphasized the minister and added that what we strive for is food sovereignty.
He added that the preservation of plant resources is of essential importance for life, but also emphasized that the help of science is also welcome in the state's intentions to improve domestic animal husbandry in the long term and efficiently.
