At the final OECD conference held at the Ministry of Finance, Stanivuković pointed out that in the observed 15 public policy areas, divided into five clusters, Serbia exceeds the average of the Western Balkans in as many as 13, which is a good result. The State Secretary stated that the report indicates that our country achieved good results, primarily in the areas of investment policy, access to finance and education policy, with constant progress in the area of scientific and technological development and innovation. The report clearly highlights the priorities of the Government of Serbia for the next period, and our focus will be on further strengthening competitiveness through improvement of the business environment, support for innovation and digitization, as well as investments in education and workforce skills, he said. Stanivuković emphasized that the Reform Agenda as an integral part of the Growth Plan for the Western Balkans will further strengthen cooperation within the region, cooperation with the European Union and member states, and at the same time enable faster economic and social convergence of the region towards the EU, the competitiveness of economies and the intensification of our European integration process. and above all, the most important for us, phased integration into the EU internal market. The State Secretary emphasized that Serbia appreciates the opportunity to participate in numerous OECD initiatives, from the multilateral convention on tax issues, through the Global Partnership for Artificial Intelligence, to indicators of public integrity.
