Students developed 15 new innovative ideas at the startup camp at STP Belgrade

15 new innovative ideas of students were presented yesterday at the end of the student startup camp ParkUP! in the Belgrade Science and Technology Park (July 11-16), which gathered more than 90 academics from all over Serbia.

On the first day of the camp, students were divided into teams and faced with challenges from five areas, for which they needed to define a problem and come up with a solution. Simulating the development of a startup, the formed teams, through interactive lectures and workshops, and working with experienced experts in the field of business development, in just 3 working days and a weekend, developed their innovative startup ideas and presented them at the end of the program in front of an expert jury.

From innovative products in the field of agriculture and urban gardening, applications intended to help people with diabetes, VR glasses for the detection of ophthalmic diseases, solutions to defend against phishing attacks, technological solutions in sports such as basketball and golf, students showed great creativity and interest in the development of innovations .
Park UP! is the first student startup program in Serbia, created with the aim of encouraging young people to step into the startup world and acquire knowledge and skills for technological entrepreneurship. So far, more than 400 students from Belgrade University have passed through it, and this year ParkUP! opened its doors for the first time to students from faculties from all over Serbia: from Nis, Kragujevac, Zrenjanin, Novi Sad, Bor, Užice...

This year's ParkUP! Science and Technology Park Belgrade was implemented as part of the Program for the Promotion and Popularization of Innovative Activities of the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation, with the support of the Technopark Serbia 2 project.
