The aims of the Symposium were the exchange of ideas with regard to examples of good practice of the marketing of products protected by GI, role of associations of the producers of products with protected GI, importance and functioning of the quality control of products with the protected geographical indication.
Experiences of offices were presented among numerous participants from the Republic of Turkey, Republic of Georgia, Republic of Azerbaijan, Republic of Uzbekistan, Republic of Moldova, Republic of Kazakhstan, Republic of Hungary, Republic of Tajikistan and Republic of Kirgizstan.
