NOTICE OF PUBLICATIONS OF TRADEMARK APPLICATIONS

The Law on Trademarks ("Official Gazette of RS", No. 6/2020), which entered into force on February 1, 2020, provides for the possibility of filing an objection to the trademark application within three months from the date of publication. Trademark applications filed since the entry into force of the Law, for which the Office has not found that there are obstacles to registration under Articles 4-6. Of the Law, are published in the official gazette of the Office - the Gazette of Intellectual Property.

Starting with Glasnik No. 3, trademark applications filed under the new Law began to be published. In order to speed up the registration procedure, the Intellectual Property Office will publish trademark applications twice a month. Only trademark applications will be published in the middle of the month, and on the last day of the month, legally prescribed information on all intellectual property rights will be published, including trademark applications for the period from the previous Gazette.

On Wednesday, July 15, the first Glasnik was published, which contains exclusively published GIS 7a trademark applications.
