The publication contains descriptions of all 59 projects funded under the PROMIS program, as well as brief texts on the main objectives, expected results and research methodology. What gives this unusual edition a special charm is 59 original illustrations by 19 illustrators from Serbia and the region.

Projects supported through PROMIS are expected to have an impact on the economy, production, industry and that the research to be carried out will benefit society as a whole - from environmental protection, preservation of cultural monuments, improvement of health care and improvement of psychiatric treatment, through creation new energy materials, conservation of plant resources, development of food products, to the analysis and re-examination of complex social problems and phenomena.

The publication "PROMIS" is printed in a limited edition and is intended primarily for research teams that received funding under this program and media representatives in order to promote science, young researchers and the expected results of this pilot program of the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia. At the beginning of 2021, an electronic edition will be published in open access.

The editor of the publication is Ivan Umeljić from the Center for the Promotion of Science. In the following period, we will present projects, scientific teams, as well as illustrators who visually presented each project.
