EIT Climate-KIC is the largest public-private partnership in the EU, engaged in mitigating climate change and accelerating the transition to the zero-carbon economy. Thanks to the support of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), Climate-KIC today encompasses a network of about 300 institutions and organizations across Europe. As the sole Climate-KIC partner in Serbia, the Serbian Chamber of Commerce is implementing "Journey" and other Climate-KIC programs from 2016.
The "Journey" program represents a unique combination of academic studies and practical experience. It is intended for students of the final year of studies, graduates, future MBAs, masters and doctors with excellent English language skills. The goal of the program is to deepen the understanding of entrepreneurship and innovation systems, as well as exchange experiences on challenges and solutions in the field of climate change. Participants will have the opportunity to learn and work in an international multidisciplinary team and develop their ideas, projects, products or services with the support of experienced mentors. During the four weeks, in the period 30.06-27.07.2019. and 04-31.08.2019. participants will stay at three locations in Europe. Last year, there were 400 young academics from around 50 countries. Registration for participation at https://journey.climate-kic.org no later than Monday, February 18, 2019. During March, interviews with short-listed candidates will be conducted. The final selection of the participants will be known in April, and the program and the specific locations at the latest one month before the trip. When completing the application, you must provide a diploma or certificate of the final year of study, a CV and a letter of recommendation in English. The program is free for EU students, students from Serbia and 10 other countries outside the EU. Participants organize and bear the cost of transport from home to the first location and from the third to the last location to the house. Transportation between locations and accommodation during the duration of the program will be organized and paid by the Climate-KIC.
